Best DJI Phone Gimbals Under KSh 15,000 in Kenya
Quick answer: Two current Infinite Tech DJI choices fall below the KSh 15,000 threshold: Osmo Mobile 7 and Osmo Mobile 7P. The budget difference is substantial enough to change your accessory allowance.
Relevant listings: DJI Osmo Mobile 7P — KSh 14,895 and DJI Osmo Mobile 7 — KSh 10,895. Confirm the live WooCommerce price before ordering.
Option one: DJI Osmo Mobile 7
At KSh 10,895, this is the lower-cost entry. You get three-axis mechanical phone stabilization, a magnetic clamp and a built-in tripod. It is suited to someone starting with stable school videos, simple adverts or social posts. Budget for phone compatibility first rather than assuming any phone fits.
Option two: DJI Osmo Mobile 7P
At KSh 14,895, the 7P leaves only KSh 105 beneath the cap. Its integrated extension rod and module-based tracking options may reduce the need to buy separate accessories for a solo recording setup. It is not the right purchase solely because it has a higher model suffix.
What is excluded from the budget
At current Infinite Tech prices, Osmo Mobile 8 and 8P cost KSh 19,995 and KSh 22,995 respectively, so they do not qualify for this list. A cheaper gimbal from another brand might exist, but this guide specifically compares current DJI stock rather than claiming the best price in the entire Kenyan market.
Spend on the full filming setup
If shooting speech-based videos, a clean recording environment or a compatible microphone can improve viewer experience more than a marginal stabilizer upgrade. Try daylight before buying a fill light. Keep room for delivery fees and confirm whether the supplied box contains all the accessories you expect.
Frequently asked question
Which DJI model under KSh 15,000 is best for solo TikTok?
The 7P is better equipped for flexible selfie framing if its extra cost is acceptable; the 7 remains a sensible value choice for basic stabilization.
