Best Smartphone Gimbal for Real Estate Videos in Kenya

Quick answer: Real estate videos require clear room geometry, steady walkthroughs and a consistent shooting plan more than flashy stabilization effects.

Products to compare: DJI Osmo Mobile 8 — KSh 19,995 and DJI Osmo Mobile 8P Standard Combo — KSh 22,995. DJI prices were checked 31 October 2026, and current selling prices can change.

Pick practical room coverage

Walk slowly through doorways, hold a consistent camera height and avoid quick direction changes. Film a wide view of every key space followed by useful details such as kitchen fittings, window outlook and storage. Respect property owners’ permission and avoid filming personal documents or occupants without consent.

Which DJI gimbal helps

The Osmo Mobile 7 can stabilize basic apartment tours at the lowest price in the current Infinite Tech lineup. The 7P adds an extension rod. The 8 supports unlimited pan that may help certain room transitions; the 8P Standard Combo adds FrameTap, useful when an agent films a self-introduction from a distance.

Phone camera considerations

A gimbal does not widen the lens or improve dynamic range. Check whether the phone has a useful wide-angle mode, adequate indoor exposure and stable autofocus. Avoid excessive digital zoom and keep vertical lines as straight as practical. Record in a consistent orientation appropriate for website listings or social feeds.

Create a repeatable agent workflow

Prepare a room checklist, clear lighting differences between rooms and capture exterior context only where permitted. Record clean audio separately when narrating in echoing spaces. Ask Infinite Tech to confirm phone fit, current gimbal price and warranty before adopting a fleet-wide buying standard.

Frequently asked question

Do estate agents need the 8P?

Not necessarily. The 8P is useful for remote self-filming; basic room walkthroughs can be handled by less expensive stabilized models.
