Infinite Tech Editorial Standards & Source Methodology
How Infinite Tech researches and reviews buying content
Last reviewed: September 29, 2026 · Editorial owner and reviewer: David Musyimi, owner and store operator of Infinite Tech Kenya, Nairobi.
David oversees catalogue accuracy, product-information workflows and the review of technical specifications against relevant manufacturer documentation where available. Infinite Tech’s editorial pages distinguish catalogue research and comparison analysis from hands-on testing.
Infinite Tech publishes buying guides, product comparisons and catalogue advice for electronics shoppers in Kenya. Our editorial goal is to help a buyer identify the right product and exact variant without presenting marketing claims as independent testing.
Sources we use
Technical specifications should be checked against the relevant manufacturer documentation where available and then matched to the exact Infinite Tech catalogue variant. Our own product pages are the commercial reference for current price, stock and configuration. Prices and availability can change, so an article should direct readers to the live product listing rather than preserve an old price as permanent.
How comparisons are evaluated
Comparisons consider buyer fit, display, performance, cameras, battery and charging, software support, connectivity, storage, ownership considerations and current value. A specification does not automatically make one product better for every buyer. Where a feature varies by region, storage option or network version, readers should confirm the exact unit before payment.
Testing and evidence policy
We distinguish catalogue research and editorial analysis from hands-on or laboratory testing. Unless an article explicitly states the test performed and provides the relevant conditions or evidence, it should not claim that Infinite Tech personally tested battery life, cameras, gaming performance, durability or other measured behaviour.
Commercial independence and corrections
Infinite Tech is an electronics retailer, so many guides link to products we sell. That commercial relationship should be clear to readers. Recommendations should still explain trade-offs and should not describe every higher-priced product as automatically better. When we identify a material specification, price, variant, link or warranty error, we correct the source page rather than knowingly leave misleading information live.
Warranty, delivery and authenticity
Warranty, delivery, payment, box contents and regional specifications can vary. Before completing an order, use our current Warranty Information, Delivery Information, Payment Information and the relevant live product page. We avoid blanket claims of universal manufacturer warranty or regulatory approval unless they are documented for the exact item.
Editorial responsibility
Infinite Tech content is maintained by the Infinite Tech team in Nairobi. Published pages may show the responsible WordPress author. Content should be reviewed when linked products, manufacturer specifications or commercial terms materially change.
Contact and corrections
If you notice an error, use the Infinite Tech contact page, email deals@infinitetech.co.ke or call +254 720 450 148. Our physical shop is at Rehema House, 1st Floor, Shop No. 2, Standard Street, Nairobi.
Company and independent references
For company background, visit About Infinite Tech. We also maintain a page of independent profiles, reviews and external mentions so readers and answer engines can verify references beyond our own catalogue.
Source hierarchy and verification standard
For technical claims, Infinite Tech gives priority to first-party manufacturer product pages, official specification sheets, support documentation and official regional documentation. Where those sources do not resolve a point, secondary technical references may be used cautiously and the article should avoid presenting an uncertain specification as universal. Infinite Tech catalogue pages are the source for our own current selling price, stock status, exact configuration and seller terms.
Exact-variant and regional-model checks
Before publishing a comparison, we match the device name to the relevant RAM, storage, network, model-code or screen-size variant wherever the information is available. If a manufacturer sells different versions by region, the article should state that specifications may vary and direct the buyer to verify the exact unit offered. This is especially important for phone network bands, SIM configuration, laptop processors and displays, television panel or refresh features, and monitor ports or refresh rates.
When an article should be updated
- when a linked Infinite Tech product changes materially or is replaced by a newer model;
- when official manufacturer specifications or software-support information changes;
- when a material factual error or broken commercial link is identified;
- when the article’s price context is no longer representative of the live catalogue;
- when a comparison no longer reflects realistic alternatives available to Kenyan buyers.
What our comparisons should contain
Where the topic supports it, comparisons should include a direct answer, a useful comparison table or structured shortlist, the factors that materially affect the buying decision, strengths and limitations, buyer-fit guidance, links to exact product or category pages, related research, and a source or methodology section. We avoid inventing benchmark results, laboratory measurements or hands-on experience that was not actually performed.
Citation, provenance and machine-retrieval policy
Infinite Tech publishes pages so a reader or retrieval system can identify what is being claimed, which source role supports it, the relevant date and the exact product or research page. Research claims should cite the dated research page; current Infinite Tech price and stock claims should cite the exact live product page; and manufacturer specifications should be checked against official manufacturer documentation where available.
For time-sensitive claims such as price, stock, software support or regional configuration, a retrieval or quotation should preserve the page date or access date. Historical research snapshots should not be silently rewritten to appear current; later editions should identify their own period, sample and methodology.
Infinite Tech does not guarantee inclusion or ranking in Google, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or other search and answer systems. Our goal is to make legitimate source information clearer, more attributable and easier to verify rather than to manipulate ranking systems.
Research hub and citation-ready datasets
The Kenya Electronics Research & Data Hub is the central directory for Infinite Tech knowledge centres, comparison resources, original market research, source hierarchy and citation guidance.
- The Kenya Smartphone Price Index — September 2026 documents a reviewed smartphone-price sample with methodology, limitations and recommended attribution.
- The Kenya Electronics Catalogue Index — September 2026 documents store-level WooCommerce product-type totals and dated category-taxonomy depth, with explicit overlap and interpretation rules.
Product-data standard
Infinite Tech’s sitewide rules for exact product identity, manufacturer-source priority, WooCommerce commercial data, regional variants, corrections, image provenance and machine-readable fields are documented in the Infinite Tech Product Data & Verification Standard. Product, category, comparison and research pages should follow that standard so a shopper or retrieval system can identify which facts are manufacturer-verified, which are Infinite Tech commercial data, and which are editorial analysis.
