CMF Watch 3 Pro vs Watch Pro 2 in Kenya (2026): Which Should You Buy?

CMF Watch 3 Pro vs CMF Watch Pro 2 in Kenya: Infinite Tech currently lists the newer Watch 3 Pro for KSh 8,495 and the Watch Pro 2 for KSh 7,495. The KSh 1,000 difference makes this an unusually close buying decision. Rather than simply paying more for a newer number, compare your actual needs: GPS precision, screen size, exercise modes, battery use and design.

CMF Watch 3 Pro versus Watch Pro 2: quick specification comparison

Which is better for runners in Nairobi?

If you often run or cycle around tall buildings, satellite tracking is a meaningful difference. Watch 3 Pro’s L1+L5 dual-band GPS receives two satellite frequency bands, potentially improving route stability where signals reflect off buildings. Watch Pro 2’s built-in multi-system GPS is still capable for ordinary outdoor walks and runs; it tracks multiple satellite constellations without claiming dual-band reception. Neither watch is a substitute for a professionally calibrated sports instrument.

Display and daily comfort

Watch 3 Pro has a 1.43-inch AMOLED display. Watch Pro 2 uses a smaller 1.32-inch AMOLED with automatic brightness and a rotating crown. Bigger numbers can help during exercise, but smaller-watch preferences are personal. Watch Pro 2 also stands out for its interchangeable bezel design; confirm whether spare straps or bezels are included in the exact package.

Battery: what does 13 days versus 11 days mean?

Nothing measures advertised battery life in controlled scenarios. Outdoor GPS tracking, calls, high brightness and Always-On Display reduce endurance on either model. For typical users who charge occasionally, the newer watch’s two-day paper advantage is useful but should not be interpreted as a guaranteed difference in every home.

Calling, notifications and health tracking

Both offer Bluetooth calling through a paired phone and wellness-oriented heart rate, sleep and blood oxygen estimates. These are not standalone cellular watches, and health readings are not medical tests. The companion apps differ: Watch 3 Pro uses Nothing X; Watch Pro 2 uses CMF Watch. Confirm iPhone/Android software compatibility and specific quick-reply functions before purchasing.

Recommendation by buyer profile

• Runner or cyclist: choose Watch 3 Pro for dual-band GPS and more training options.
• Style-focused buyer: consider Watch Pro 2 for interchangeable bezels and the lower price.
• Best all-round feature value: Watch 3 Pro’s KSh 1,000 premium is reasonable when GPS, display and battery are priorities.
• Strict budget under KSh 8,000: Watch Pro 2 currently fits the target.

Common questions

Is CMF Watch Pro 3 a separate model?

Nothing names the newer product CMF Watch 3 Pro; “Pro 3” is often a search-term inversion.

Can either watch take phone calls without my phone?

Bluetooth calling normally depends on the compatible connected phone; neither listing claims independent LTE/eSIM service.

Are they waterproof for swimming?

Both have IP68 ratings, but do not assume swimming or diving suitability from this alone.
