Which is best for school?

Do not automatically choose the biggest listed RAM/storage. Ask about physical RAM, chipset, Android version, screen quality and battery. A balanced 8GB tablet can outperform a poorly documented “16GB” tablet in real use.

AI use

For cloud AI, 8GB is already plenty for most school workflows. 12GB+ is only valuable if the processor/software can make use of it.

FAQs

Is 12GB worth it?

For heavy multitasking, potentially. Verify it is physical RAM.

Do students need 1TB?

Rarely. 128GB–256GB is enough for many students.

What should I check first?

Android version, physical RAM, display, battery and app compatibility.

Can these handle AI?

Cloud AI yes where supported; advanced on-device AI should not be assumed from RAM alone.
