EA SPORTS FC games on PS5: current prices

Best overall football game: EA SPORTS FC 27

FC 27 is the current premium choice for buyers who want the newest entry in the series and are comfortable paying more. It is the natural option for players who care about staying on the latest football release, current competitive activity and the freshest version of the franchise.

Best value football game: EA SPORTS FC 26

FC 26 is particularly attractive because it sits below KSh 5,000 while still being a recent series entry. For many casual and local multiplayer players, that price difference can be more important than having the newest release.

Best cheap football game: EA SPORTS FC 25

At KSh 4,000, FC 25 is the cheapest EA SPORTS FC option in the current Infinite Tech catalogue. It makes sense for buyers who mainly want football gameplay at the lowest cost and do not need the newest generation.

FC 27 vs FC 26: which should you buy?

The decision is mostly about newness versus value. FC 27 costs significantly more, while FC 26 is still a strong football game for local matches and casual play. Competitive online players often prefer the newest title because communities move forward with each annual release, while offline and family players may prefer the cheaper option.

We are expanding this into a dedicated FC 27 vs FC 26 comparison.

Why football games offer strong replay value

Unlike a story game that may be completed once, football games can stay in rotation for months. Local head-to-head matches, tournaments among friends and online competition give them long-term replay value. This is one reason FC titles can be a good first PS5 game for a household with several players.

What to check before buying a football game

• Generation: decide whether the newest release matters to you.
• Local multiplayer: make sure you have enough controllers for same-console play.
• Online play: check whether the features you want require an internet connection or PlayStation subscription.
• Budget: compare the latest release with the previous generation.
• Age and in-game purchases: review official notices before buying for children.

Best football game for families

For families that mainly want local matches, FC 26 or FC 25 can provide excellent value because several people can use the same game repeatedly. Buying an additional compatible controller may improve the experience more than spending extra simply to move to the newest annual release.
