Samsung M33 vs A26 5G Kenya | Price & Specs
The Samsung Galaxy M33 vs A26 5G price comparison in Kenya has a counterintuitive result: Infinite Tech currently lists the newer A26 5G only KSh 500 above the older M33. Both exact listings have 6GB physical RAM, 128GB internal storage and 5G capability. This is the kind of comparison that matters when selecting older Samsung stock: the newer phone can offer better long-term value for almost the same price.

Reasons to choose the A26 5G
The Galaxy A26 5G 6/128GB offers Samsung’s 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen at up to 120Hz, an OIS-equipped 50MP main camera with 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro sensors, a 13MP selfie camera, 5000mAh typical battery and IP67 rating. Samsung Africa lists its security update period until March 2031 for supported regional models. These are meaningful benefits for long-term ownership, particularly when the price premium is KSh 500.
Where M33 can still compete
The Galaxy M33 5G 6/128GB offers 5G, a 6.6-inch FHD+ 120Hz screen, microSD expansion and a 50MP main camera accompanied by 5MP ultrawide plus two 2MP sensors. Some global M33 versions have 5000mAh batteries and Indian regional variants were advertised with 6000mAh; confirm the model number and actual battery configuration before purchase. M33 may suit a buyer who specifically prefers its design, storage expansion setup or an already inspected unit.
Should Infinite Tech market M33 as a clearance bargain?
Not automatically. At the current price difference, the A26 has a compelling screen, camera-stabilization, durability and software-support proposition. If the older M33 is to serve as clearance inventory, a genuinely competitive price or a clear differentiator would matter. Customers should not be told it is a discount without a verified historical selling price.

What does KSh 500 more buy with the Galaxy A26 5G?
The price gap between the older M33 5G 6GB/128GB and newer A26 5G 6GB/128GB was KSh 500 when this guide was prepared. On equivalent physical memory, the A26’s AMOLED screen, OIS on the main camera, IP67 rating and newer published software-support schedule matter more than the small price difference for many buyers. This does not mean the A26 has better battery life in every situation or that a regional M33 has the same battery capacity as every other M33.
Five-year ownership question: a shopper choosing the A26 should check the official regional software-update end date and warranty, especially if mobile banking and security updates are important. For an M33, its older launch and shorter remaining support horizon can outweigh an apparent KSh 500 saving. Verify used or refurbished condition separately rather than treating all stock as new.
5G coverage: network labels alone do not guarantee 5G throughput on any Kenyan operator. Confirm the bands on the supplied Samsung model, the SIM plan and signal coverage at the places where the phone will be used. Both options remain able to use 4G where supported.
