Samsung Galaxy A56 vs A57 5G Kenya: Display, Camera and Value
Infinite Tech Kenya editorial comparison · Updated 31 October 2026. This comparison is based on Samsung manufacturer specifications and the store’s dated product listing snapshots; no laboratory benchmarks or hands-on testing are claimed.
The Galaxy A56 5G remains a credible premium-midrange choice even after the A57 arrived. The key question is whether the A57’s newer design, screen technology and IP68 rating are worth paying more for, when both families offer 50MP OIS main cameras and 5,000mAh typical batteries.

Why A57 may suit the long-term buyer
Samsung’s March 2026 launch documents A57’s 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ display, 179g weight, IP68 protection and Android 16 with One UI 8.5 at launch. Its published main camera is 50MP, with 12MP ultrawide and 5MP macro. These are useful advancements, not evidence that every photo is objectively better.
Why A56 still has a place
Galaxy A56 offers FHD+ Super AMOLED at 120Hz, a 50MP OIS main camera, 12MP ultrawide and 5,000mAh battery. It can be a sensible value purchase if its exact variant is cheaper and the regional warranty and remaining update support meet your ownership plan.
