Best Samsung Galaxy A 5G Phones in Kenya: A17, A26, A27, A36, A37 and A57
Infinite Tech editorial research · Updated 31 October 2026. Model specifications use Samsung’s official references. Our listed prices are dated catalogue snapshots, not permanent offers or independent market-average estimates.
5G is a device radio capability, not a guarantee of 5G signal or speed in every part of Kenya. The best Samsung Galaxy A 5G phone depends on exact memory, network bands, display, supported software and your budget. This guide narrows the decision without mixing 4G-only A08 or A18 variants into a 5G shortlist.

Price interpretation: The figures above were checked from Infinite Tech’s WooCommerce catalogue around 30–31 October 2026. They are not claims about every Kenyan retailer or guaranteed future prices. If a phone moves above a budget threshold, remove it from that budget guide; checkout prices control.
Budget 5G: Galaxy A17 5G
A17 5G combines a Full HD+ AMOLED display, 50MP OIS and the newer radio capability in an accessible checked listing. Confirm the specific SM-A176 regional model and band compatibility before assuming it connects to your local operator.
Midrange: A26, A27, A36 and A37
The choice is not purely chronological. A26 and A36 can offer IP67, A27 is documented as IP64, and A37 as IP68. The A27’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 and 12MP front camera may suit different preferences. Compare RAM/storage rather than just model suffixes.
Premium-midrange: Galaxy A57
A57 adds Samsung’s AMOLED+ display, slim body and IP68 protection. An 8GB/128GB A57 is not the same offer as its 8GB/256GB or 12GB/256GB variants; confirm warranty, storage and final price before choosing.
Buy the right variant—not merely the right name
Check the original retail model code, physical RAM, storage, 4G/5G connectivity, warranty region and box contents. Expandable storage and eSIM support can depend on the specific variant. A 4GB phone using RAM Plus has not magically become an 8GB physical-RAM handset. For updated availability browse the Infinite Tech Galaxy A catalogue or call 0720450148.
Samsung A-series 5G network checklist
- Confirm the full SM- model and that the product is genuinely the 5G version.
- Ask your Kenyan provider about coverage, compatible bands and SIM requirements.
- Compare physical RAM, storage, AMOLED display and main-camera OIS independently of 5G.
- Check the regional warranty and do not promise 5G service everywhere.
- Use live Infinite Tech listings to compare actual 5G variants and current KSh prices.
Practical next action: Make the selection only after the model code, price and written warranty for the exact unit are confirmed. Our comparison tables use manufacturer specification documents and dated retail references rather than invented performance tests.
