The three models and the trade-off
LG 43NU840B6LA is KSh 39,995, LG 50NU804B6LA is KSh 50,995 and LG 55NU8040B6LA is KSh 58,495. Moving up in size costs more; it does not automatically provide a higher-tier processor or better HDR. The 43-inch NU84 and 50/55-inch NU80 have different model codes. Confirm the exact specifications on the actual regional unit before comparing them as if screen size were the only difference.
Who should buy the 43-inch model?
If your television sits in a bedroom, a compact apartment or on a relatively narrow console, 43 inches can deliver an enjoyable 4K experience without dominating the room. The KSh 39,995 price also leaves more room for a suitable wall bracket, internet subscription, soundbar or professional delivery. For very large rooms, however, the smaller screen may be less immersive from the far sofa.
When the 50- or 55-inch upgrade makes sense
A 50-inch model offers a middle ground when space and budget are both limited. A 55-inch screen may make sports and family film nights easier to enjoy from farther seating positions. The extra amount is only worthwhile if the physical TV dimensions and seating distance suit the space. Check the stand leg spacing; the diagonal screen size does not tell you whether the feet fit your furniture.
Avoid hidden costs and claims
Confirm whether the supplied remote is included, what streaming applications are supported for Kenya, and whether delivery or wall mounting are separate. These NU-family references are 4K Smart TVs, but refresh-rate, processor and HDMI claims must be matched to the exact carton code. Ask for a written purchase receipt and applicable warranty terms.
