Which iPhones Support Apple Intelligence in 2026? Compatibility and Buying Guide

Supported iPhones
Apple’s current iOS 27 support documentation lists iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and iPhone 16 models or later as Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhones. Buyers should check the exact model, not just the iPhone generation number.
Why standard iPhone 15 is different
The standard iPhone 15 and 15 Plus are not in Apple’s current Apple Intelligence-enabled list, while the 15 Pro and Pro Max are. This is a clear example of why model-specific compatibility matters more than release year.
iPhone 17 and later
