Best Shooter Games on PS5 in Kenya 2026: Call of Duty, Battlefield & More

Shooter games remain one of the biggest PS5 genres, but they are not all the same. Some focus on competitive multiplayer, others on large-scale warfare, story campaigns, tactical sniping or loot-driven co-op. This guide compares the best shooter games on PS5 in Kenya using current Infinite Tech catalogue prices and the type of player each title suits.

Prices below reflect the Infinite Tech catalogue on 5 October 2026 and can change. For the complete live catalogue, use our PS5 Games Price in Kenya 2026 index.

Best PS5 shooter games: quick comparison

Best overall competitive shooter: Call of Duty

Call of Duty remains the easiest starting point for players who want fast multiplayer, familiar FPS controls and a large competitive ecosystem. Black Ops 7 is the premium current option in the Infinite Tech catalogue, while Black Ops 6 and Modern Warfare II or III provide alternatives at different price levels.

If you mainly play offline campaigns, do not automatically pay more for the newest annual entry. Compare the campaign, multiplayer modes you actually use and price before choosing.

Best large-scale shooter: Battlefield 6

Battlefield 6 at KSh 6,400 is a stronger fit for players who prefer larger battles and a different style of warfare from Call of Duty. Battlefield 2042 at KSh 4,000 remains the budget option for someone who wants the Battlefield formula without spending above KSh 5,000.

Best open-world shooter: Far Cry 6

Far Cry 6 combines shooting with an explorable open world and mission freedom. At KSh 4,000, it is also one of the cheapest major shooter options in the catalogue and fits naturally in our PS5 Games Under KSh 5,000 guide.

Best looter shooter: Borderlands 4

Borderlands 4 is aimed at players who enjoy combining gunplay with loot, character progression and a less realistic visual style. If collecting weapons and building a character matters more than military realism, Borderlands can be a better fit than Call of Duty or Battlefield.

Best tactical sniper games

Sniper Elite 5 at KSh 4,700 and Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 at KSh 4,400 suit players who prefer patience, range and deliberate planning. These games are a better choice for someone who finds fast arena-style firefights exhausting.

Best story-focused shooter

Terminator: Resistance Enhanced at KSh 6,100 gives sci-fi and Terminator fans a more narrative-driven shooter alternative. It is not the same proposition as a primarily competitive online FPS, so choose it for its setting and campaign rather than multiplayer popularity.

Best cheap PS5 shooters

Battlefield 2042 and Far Cry 6 are both KSh 4,000, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 is KSh 4,400 and Sniper Elite 5 is KSh 4,700. Buyers with a KSh 5,000 ceiling therefore have several substantial shooter options.

Which shooter should you buy?

• Fast competitive FPS: Call of Duty.
• Large battles: Battlefield.
• Open-world campaign: Far Cry 6.
• Loot and progression: Borderlands 4 or Outriders.
• Tactical sniping: Sniper Elite 5.
• Sci-fi story: Terminator: Resistance Enhanced.

PS5 shooter buying tips

Before buying, check whether the experience you want depends on online multiplayer and whether a PlayStation subscription is required for that mode. Also check storage requirements, age ratings and whether your internet connection is suitable for large updates or online competition. For local same-console gaming, a fighting, football or wrestling game may serve you better than a shooter whose multiplayer is online only.
