• Finish: silver with recessed handles.

Dimensions and kitchen suitability

Samsung quotes 555 × 1545 × 637mm (width × height × depth) and approximately 46kg net weight for its RT22FARBDS8/UN product. Allow extra ventilation and door-opening clearance as specified by Samsung. Measure apartment entrances, stairs and the intended kitchen position in advance.

Who is it best for?

Its compact width and top-freezer configuration suit shoppers seeking separately accessible frozen storage without moving to a wide side-by-side appliance. Compare capacity, usable shelves and freezer compartment arrangement with the other RT22 and RT25 Samsung models before deciding.

Food safety and electricity-cost considerations

The Cool Pack can help maintain colder freezer conditions during temporary interruptions, but it cannot replace safe food-handling practices. To estimate monthly electricity costs, use the regional appliance energy-label kWh/year value and your applicable Kenya Power tariff, not a generic wattage claim. Is RT22FARBDS8 a top-freezer model?

Yes. It has a separately opening freezer above the refrigerator.

Why do some sellers list 234L while others say 236L?

Regional Samsung and retailer descriptions use different published capacity figures. The exact suffix and the label on the supplied unit should take precedence when confirming advertised capacity.

Does this fridge have Cool Pack?

Samsung lists Cool Pack for RT22FARBDS8/UN. Its performance during an outage depends on ambient temperature, food load and how often the door is opened.
