8.0-inch main display and 6.5-inch cover screen

Open the Fold7 to reveal an 8.0-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display designed for split-screen apps, documents, spreadsheets, browsing, video and creative work. When folded, the 6.5-inch cover display works like a conventional smartphone for quick everyday tasks. Both screens support smooth adaptive refresh rates up to 120Hz.

Blue Shadow design and lighter foldable construction

Blue Shadow is one of Samsung’s official Fold7 colors. The Fold7 weighs about 215g, making the device significantly easier to carry than earlier large foldables while retaining the expansive inner display.

Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy and 12GB RAM

The Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy platform provides flagship-class performance for multitasking, gaming, image processing, Galaxy AI and desktop-style workflows. With 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, this version balances performance and capacity for users who stream media or use cloud storage while keeping core apps and files locally.

200MP flagship camera system

The rear camera array is led by a 200MP wide camera, supported by a 12MP ultrawide and 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The Fold7 also includes 10MP cameras for cover-screen and main-screen selfies/video calling.

Battery, connectivity and productivity

Samsung specifies a 4,400mAh typical battery. The Fold7 also supports modern Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, Samsung DeX-style productivity workflows and multi-window features that take advantage of the large inner screen.

Durability and S Pen note

The Fold7 uses advanced materials and an IP48 resistance rating on current Samsung documentation. Importantly, the Galaxy Z Fold7 does not support S Pen input, so buyers who require stylus support should factor that into their decision.
