LG 65QNED72B6LA buying guide for Kenya: practical decisions

Picture quality and real viewing experience

This 2026 QNED72 Mini LED family uses Dynamic QNED Color and a Mini LED backlight. It is not an OLED panel, and the QNED name by itself does not guarantee a 120Hz screen. The LG 75QNED72B6A example has a manufacturer-confirmed native 60Hz panel; retail descriptions of other regional variants must not be assumed equivalent without documentation.

Is this 65-inch LG suitable for your room?

A 65-inch screen is often chosen for medium-to-large living rooms. Check the width of the TV cabinet, your seating angle and whether the stand or wall mount suits the actual model. A large screen also makes low-quality broadcasts look softer, so compare your regular source quality with 4K movies before choosing.

Gaming, HDMI connections and soundbar setup

This family suits mainstream 4K gaming where picture processing and low-latency options matter, but buyers planning 120fps gaming need to verify the exact model’s native refresh rate and ports first. Connect the console directly during initial setup, use Game Optimizer and check that HDMI-CEC and eARC settings do not conflict with an attached soundbar.

How does this model compare with other LG televisions?

Compared with Nano UHD NU80, QNED72 emphasises Mini LED and QNED colour. Compared with QNED84 and OLED C6, its intended customer is generally choosing a different price/performance balance. For the 65-inch regional SKU, do not infer all 75-inch specifications automatically.

Streaming, aerial reception and connectivity in Kenya

Before purchase, check the exact regional model for DVB-T2 reception if you want over-the-air Kenyan digital channels. Confirm Wi-Fi coverage near the TV: even a premium processor cannot compensate for intermittent internet, especially for 4K streaming. Use a wired Ethernet connection where supported and practical. For satellite receivers, gaming systems or soundbars, count how many HDMI ports you will actually occupy; reserve the eARC-capable connection if you plan to use HDMI sound output. App and AI features can vary by country, account, subscription and software version.

What should you check before paying for LG 65QNED72B6LA?

Ask the seller for a photo of the complete model code on the carton, the included remote and stand type, the manufacturer’s warranty terms, and confirmation of the actual dispatch stock. Check for transport damage when the TV arrives and retain the receipt and packaging until installation is finished. The model suffix is particularly important where manufacturer catalogues list a similar family under a different regional code. An official series image is not proof that an identical unit is in stock.

Delivery, after-sales support and installation

Infinite Tech Kenya serves customers from Nairobi. Before confirming an order, request the final delivery cost, expected fulfilment arrangements and whether professional wall mounting is separately charged. Record the serial number for support. A trained installer should check the mounting bracket, wall material, electrical routing and airflow around the TV. If a soundbar is planned, verify its clearance beneath the panel and test volume control with the actual remote before leaving the installation.
