Why choose this LG 100-inch TV?

The 100-inch screen is designed for larger spaces where a smaller 55-inch or 65-inch screen cannot deliver the desired viewing impact. Mini LED backlighting and precision dimming help control contrast; high-refresh 4K gaming features benefit compatible consoles and PCs. Confirm doorway clearance, support surface, wall structure and delivery requirements before purchase.

LG 100QNED86A6 buying guide for Kenya: practical decisions

Picture quality and real viewing experience

The LG QNED evo Mini LED display uses a backlight and local dimming rather than self-emitting OLED pixels. This makes it different from an LG OLED C-series TV despite sharing a 4K resolution. Large-screen viewing reveals both the benefits of sharper high-quality sources and the flaws in poorly compressed video. Its precision dimming and large viewing area deserve a proper lighting demonstration.

Is this 100-inch LG suitable for your room?

A 100-inch screen calls for a careful delivery survey. Check the lift, corridors, doorway widths, stairwell turning space and the size of its packaging before buying. An installer should assess the wall, bracket rating, electrical access and viewing height. Large-panel handling is a professional job, not an ordinary self-installation.

Gaming, HDMI connections and soundbar setup

This model supports 4K 120Hz inputs and compatible variable-refresh gaming up to the manufacturer limit. Connect a capable HDMI source and select the appropriate game mode; casual streaming boxes and older consoles will not necessarily output those modes. If connecting an AVR, verify that pass-through supports your required refresh rate before purchasing.

How does this model compare with other LG televisions?

A 100-inch TV can replace a projector for some living rooms, but it changes installation costs, weight requirements and the amount of light the room receives. Compare with 75- and 83-inch OLED or QNED alternatives based on actual wall width and picture preference. A smaller OLED may win on absolute black level; this 100-inch Mini LED concentrates on image scale and bright-room versatility.

Streaming, aerial reception and connectivity in Kenya

Before purchase, check the exact regional model for DVB-T2 reception if you want over-the-air Kenyan digital channels. Confirm Wi-Fi coverage near the TV: even a premium processor cannot compensate for intermittent internet, especially for 4K streaming. Use a wired Ethernet connection where supported and practical. For satellite receivers, gaming systems or soundbars, count how many HDMI ports you will actually occupy; reserve the eARC-capable connection if you plan to use HDMI sound output. App and AI features can vary by country, account, subscription and software version.

What should you check before paying for LG 100QNED86A6?

Ask the seller for a photo of the complete model code on the carton, the included remote and stand type, the manufacturer’s warranty terms, and confirmation of the actual dispatch stock. Check for transport damage when the TV arrives and retain the receipt and packaging until installation is finished. The model suffix is particularly important where manufacturer catalogues list a similar family under a different regional code. An official series image is not proof that an identical unit is in stock.

Delivery, after-sales support and installation

Infinite Tech Kenya serves customers from Nairobi. Before confirming an order, request the final delivery cost, expected fulfilment arrangements and whether professional wall mounting is separately charged. Record the serial number for support. A trained installer should check the mounting bracket, wall material, electrical routing and airflow around the TV. If a soundbar is planned, verify its clearance beneath the panel and test volume control with the actual remote before leaving the installation.
