JS NovaEdge Ultra 49″ Veon 5120×1440 165Hz 5K Ultrawide Curved Gaming Monitor

JS NovaEdge Ultra 49″ Veon 5120×1440 165Hz Super-Ultrawide Curved Monitor

The JS NovaEdge Ultra 49 Veon is built for buyers who want one continuous display instead of a dual-monitor setup. Its 49-inch 5120×1440 VA panel uses a 32:9 super-ultrawide aspect ratio, essentially giving you the pixel canvas of two 2560×1440 displays side by side without a centre bezel.

It combines that huge workspace with a 165Hz refresh rate, 1ms response specification, curved design and 100% sRGB coverage. JS Nova and retailers often describe 5120×1440 as “5K ultrawide”; the exact native resolution is 5120×1440, also commonly called Dual QHD.

Why 32:9 is different from a normal ultrawide

Standard ultrawide monitors such as 34-inch 3440×1440 models use a 21:9 aspect ratio. The 49-inch Veon stretches to 32:9, creating a desktop that can comfortably hold three or four application columns, large trading dashboards or an extremely wide game view.

For productivity, the biggest advantage is continuity: windows can move across the entire workspace without crossing a physical bezel. For gaming, supported titles can deliver a panoramic field of view that feels closer to a multi-monitor simulator setup.

165Hz for a premium gaming experience

The listed 165Hz refresh rate gives the monitor significantly smoother motion than conventional 60Hz or 75Hz ultrawides. The 1ms response specification is targeted at gaming and fast visual transitions.

Remember that 5120×1440 is demanding. To take advantage of 165Hz in modern games, especially at high quality settings, you need a capable GPU and a suitable DisplayPort/HDMI connection. Less demanding esports titles may reach high frame rates more easily than graphically intensive AAA games.

VA panel and curved immersion

Current references identify a VA panel. VA technology is known for strong native contrast, which can make dark scenes look richer than on many entry-level IPS monitors. The curved format helps keep the far edges of the very wide screen within a more natural viewing angle.

Connectivity: Veon keeps it simple

The Veon family is the non-USB-C choice. Current references list HDMI, DisplayPort, 3.5mm audio output and DC power. If you want USB-C and the more workstation-oriented connectivity package, choose the 49-inch Auren USB-C.

Ideal use cases

• Sim racing and flight simulation: panoramic 32:9 field of view.
• Trading: multiple charts and order windows on one screen.
• Video editing: extremely wide timelines with space for tool panels.
• Software development: code, terminal, docs and preview can remain visible.
• Office power users: one screen can replace two 27-inch QHD displays for many workflows.

Key Specifications

49-inch Veon or Auren?

Choose the Veon if your desktop PC already uses HDMI or DisplayPort and you want the lower-cost route into a 49-inch 165Hz super-ultrawide. Choose the Auren USB-C if USB-C, additional USB connectivity or multi-source features are important.
