WHOOP One vs Peak vs Life: Memberships Compared

Kenyan buyer’s guide · Updated 31 October 2026. WHOOP’s three membership tiers can be confusing because each plan is linked with a hardware package, but not every feature depends only on the sensor. Buying the highest tier is not automatically the best value in Kenya, especially when advanced medical functions are geographically restricted.

WHOOP One: core fitness tracking

One is aimed at members who want foundational fitness, sleep, strain and recovery insights without the extended wellness tools of higher memberships. The standard current-generation device associated with One is WHOOP 5.0. It is a screen-free wearable rated for 14+ days of battery life. A compatible smartphone and active membership remain essential.

Consider One when you primarily want to understand sleep consistency, training exertion, activity and readiness rather than continually checking a watch face.

WHOOP Peak: advanced wellness on WHOOP 5.0

Peak contains the foundational One experience plus the Health Monitor, real-time Stress Monitor and Healthspan features such as WHOOP Age and Pace of Aging. Peak normally supplies the same WHOOP 5.0 generation hardware, not the MG sensor. Peak does not provide ECG or Blood Pressure Insights.

For Nairobi runners, gym users and desk workers trying to improve recovery habits, Peak can provide a practical balance between analytics and recurring cost.

WHOOP Life: MG hardware and eligibility limits

Life includes Peak features and is ordinarily bundled with WHOOP MG. The hardware can support additional Heart Screener and Blood Pressure Insights features for eligible members. But WHOOP has not listed Kenya as an approved market for ECG and irregular-heart-rhythm notifications as of 23 October 2026. Paying for Life does not create local approval.

WHOOP’s blood-pressure estimate is a wellness tool requiring setup and eligibility. It must not be used to diagnose hypertension or substitute for a clinical blood-pressure cuff.

Compare total subscription cost, renewal terms and the exact included package—not simply the name printed in a retailer title. Ask for evidence that the membership period has not already been activated. Confirm device and phone compatibility, and consult the WHOOP app for feature access.
