Oraimo OpenCirclet 2 OPN-672: IPX5, Exercise Tracking and 16-Hour Battery

Reviewed 10 October 2026. OpenCirclet 2 uses a continuous around-the-head arrangement that suits some active listeners. This independent Infinite Tech guide is built for Kenyan buyers who want to understand a particular Oraimo feature before opening checkout, not for readers seeking an unverified promotional ranking.

In-depth explanation

What Oraimo specifies

OpenCirclet 2 uses Bluetooth 5.4, a USB-C charging port and an IPX5 rating, with up to 16 hours of claimed playback. Oraimo also describes the companion oraimo Sound app and a step-tracking feature. Treat that feature as a general activity estimate, not a replacement for a calibrated fitness tracker.

Rain and sweat protection have limits

IPX5 indicates resistance to water jets under specified testing, not permission to swim or submerge the headphones. Keep the charging port dry before plugging in a cable. Sweat, sunscreen and moisture should be wiped away after exercise according to product care guidance.

Why the band shape matters

The wraparound shape can reduce the number of small pieces to manage, and Oraimo describes a flexible memory-wire structure. Compare the fit with hair, helmets and eyewear. A stable fit at home is not proof it will remain comfortable after an hour of running.

Fit and surroundings are part of the specification

Technical figures do not capture whether an accessory remains comfortable for two hours on a bus or during work. For in-ear models, fit changes the seal, bass and passive isolation. Open-ear designs deliberately preserve environmental awareness but may leak sound at higher volumes. Compare the wearing style, not merely the headline Bluetooth revision.

Buying from a genuine model page

The product links in this guide point to particular Infinite Tech catalogue entries. Match the model code with the box, confirm included cables and accessories, and check the current checkout amount. Pricing can change as supplier costs and promotions change, so the figures below are a dated snapshot.

Buyer checklist before ordering

Use the model number, not a vague family name. Confirm the device and companion app supported by your phone, read the package contents, check the fit or form factor and ask about warranty documentation. A specification such as IPX5, up to 45 hours or ANC may be stated under conditions different from daily use. Choose on the basis of your actual environment, rather than assuming every feature improves every situation.

Using exercise tracking responsibly

The OpenCirclet 2 pedometer is a convenience feature for observing broad activity, not a guaranteed match for a dedicated fitness watch or phone counter. Try using it over a familiar walking route and look for consistency rather than treating every single step as a medical or fitness target. If results differ from another device, remember that positioning, motion detection and software methods can produce different counts without proving that either is absolutely correct.

The 16-hour figure refers to manufacturer-rated playback, not necessarily a continuous exercise session under maximum volume. IPX5 helps with sweat and splashes within defined conditions but is not permission to swim. Dry the port before charging and store the headset so the flexible band is not permanently bent. Review the app’s compatibility with your phone before choosing this device primarily for tracking.
