The iPhone 12 was launched in October 2020 alongside the iPhone 12 pro, iPhone 12 mini and 12 Pro Max. Pre-orders began on October 13, 2020, and the devices were made available on October 23, 2020. It landed in Kenya in November 2020.

The iPhone 12 introduced Apple’s A14 Bionic chip, 5G connectivity, a Super Retina XDR OLED display and a dual 12MP camera system with Night mode, Deep Fusion and Smart HDR 3. Its flat-edge aluminium design uses Ceramic Shield on the front.

Design

The iPhone 12 uses a flat-edge aluminium design with a Ceramic Shield front and glass back. Its dual-camera system supports features including Night mode, Deep Fusion and Smart HDR 3.
