LG 65QNED84B6LA buying guide for Kenya: practical decisions

Picture quality and real viewing experience

The QNED84 family is positioned higher within the 2026 LG QNED range. Mini LED illumination and LG colour processing distinguish it from the more affordable NU80 Nano UHD series. When comparing with other QNED models, evaluate backlight control, HDR highlight handling and refresh capability on the exact regional product rather than assuming all QNED badges describe the same panel.

Is this 65-inch LG suitable for your room?

A 65-inch screen is often chosen for medium-to-large living rooms. Check the width of the TV cabinet, your seating angle and whether the stand or wall mount suits the actual model. A large screen also makes low-quality broadcasts look softer, so compare your regular source quality with 4K movies before choosing.

Gaming, HDMI connections and soundbar setup

The family is associated with higher-refresh capabilities, but the exact 65QNED84B6LA unit needs regional hardware verification before anyone promises a specific input refresh or VRR ceiling. Ask for a photo of the carton model label and an official regional specification sheet if high-frame-rate PlayStation, Xbox or PC play is your buying priority.

How does this model compare with other LG televisions?

Compared with QNED72, the QNED84 family targets buyers prepared to pay more for advanced picture and gaming features. Compared with a 65-inch OLED C6, the QNED remains an LCD-based Mini LED choice and will handle dark-room scenes differently. Match feature claims to the actual B6LA regional suffix before choosing on processor or brightness alone.

Streaming, aerial reception and connectivity in Kenya

Before purchase, check the exact regional model for DVB-T2 reception if you want over-the-air Kenyan digital channels. Confirm Wi-Fi coverage near the TV: even a premium processor cannot compensate for intermittent internet, especially for 4K streaming. Use a wired Ethernet connection where supported and practical. For satellite receivers, gaming systems or soundbars, count how many HDMI ports you will actually occupy; reserve the eARC-capable connection if you plan to use HDMI sound output. App and AI features can vary by country, account, subscription and software version.

What should you check before paying for LG 65QNED84B6LA?

Ask the seller for a photo of the complete model code on the carton, the included remote and stand type, the manufacturer’s warranty terms, and confirmation of the actual dispatch stock. Check for transport damage when the TV arrives and retain the receipt and packaging until installation is finished. The model suffix is particularly important where manufacturer catalogues list a similar family under a different regional code. An official series image is not proof that an identical unit is in stock.

Delivery, after-sales support and installation

Infinite Tech Kenya serves customers from Nairobi. Before confirming an order, request the final delivery cost, expected fulfilment arrangements and whether professional wall mounting is separately charged. Record the serial number for support. A trained installer should check the mounting bracket, wall material, electrical routing and airflow around the TV. If a soundbar is planned, verify its clearance beneath the panel and test volume control with the actual remote before leaving the installation.
