iPhone 18 Pro Max key specifications

6.9-inch ProMotion OLED display

The iPhone 18 Pro Max uses a 6.9-inch all-screen Super Retina XDR OLED display with a 2868-by-1320 resolution at 460 ppi. It supports ProMotion adaptive refresh rates up to 120Hz, Always-On display, HDR, True Tone, wide colour (P3), Haptic Touch and Dynamic Island. Apple rates peak outdoor brightness at up to 3000 nits under its stated conditions.

The larger canvas is the clearest everyday reason to choose Pro Max. It provides more room for video, gaming, maps, spreadsheets, photo review and document work than the 6.3-inch iPhone 18 Pro.

A20 Pro performance and sustained cooling

The iPhone 18 Pro Max uses Apple’s A20 Pro platform with a 6-core CPU, 7-core GPU with Neural Accelerators and a dual 16-core Neural Engine. Apple pairs it with a next-generation vapor chamber designed to improve sustained performance during gaming, editing, AI workloads and other intensive tasks.

48MP Pro Fusion camera system

The rear camera system combines a 48MP Fusion Main, 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide and 48MP Fusion Telephoto. The Main camera uses variable aperture, with Apple listing aperture settings including f/1.48, f/1.8, f/2.8 and f/4.0. This adds physical control over incoming light and depth of field compared with a fixed-aperture design.

The 18MP Center Stage front camera supports autofocus and advanced photo/video features. Apple also lists ProRes and ProRes RAW workflows, with compatible external storage required for some high-data-rate recording modes.

Battery life: the Pro Max advantage

Apple rates iPhone 18 Pro Max for up to 45 hours of video playback under its stated test conditions, giving it the higher official battery rating in the Pro pair. Real-world endurance depends on brightness, 5G use, signal strength, gaming, camera activity and background apps.

USB-C supports charging, DisplayPort and USB 3 data transfer up to 10Gb/s. MagSafe and Qi2 wireless charging are supported up to 25W with compatible accessories.

5G, Wi‑Fi 7 and wireless connectivity

Apple lists 5G, Wi‑Fi 7 with 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth 6, NFC, Thread networking and second-generation Ultra Wideband. Regional radio and SIM configurations can differ, so select the exact Infinite Tech variant that matches your intended network setup.

Physical SIM vs eSIM

Infinite Tech separates Physical SIM and eSIM stock where applicable. eSIM is useful for digital line provisioning, while a physical-SIM-capable regional model can be more convenient for buyers who regularly move a SIM card between phones. Confirm the exact model and operator compatibility before purchase.

What do Active and Non-Active mean?

These are supplier stock labels describing activation status for a particular unit. They do not mean a different camera, processor or display. Confirm the selected unit’s activation status and the applicable warranty or coverage terms before checkout.
